Qualification:

Bachelor’s in any discipline
Diploma in material management is desirable

Experience:

10+ years of experience in construction IT projects materials & storekeeping, IT inventory Management .

Skills:

Store & Inventory Control Management.

Packaging, Loading & unloading.

SAP MM Module & MS-Office.

Knowledge of construction, interior project IT materials.

Communication Skills written & verbal.

Job Description:

Dy. Manager, Inventory control IT will be responsible for the entire IT material Inventory available across SVKM & its institutions which includes Projects & operation consumables, Passive materials as well as Fixed Assets bought out. This will involve inter alia the following.

Accurate monitoring of the work for store personnel for project materials ordered, stored, issued & consumed for constructing fixed assets through contractors & determining the fair value of such constructed assets.

Ensure that proper recording systems incorporating, inter alia, receipts, issued, balances, documentation related to transfer of fixed assets are in place for inventory available in SVKM & its Institutes & report to Manager Inventory control.

Ensure all project IT assets purchased need to be capitalise in SAP on respective institute account in co-ordination with account team.

Ensure that indents for purchase, ordering and re-ordering of inventory are sent out as & when required.

Oversee the updation of stock registers, stock accounts across different levels of all the institutions.

Setting up a system for carrying out physical verification of IT fixed assets, stock & items as may be required statutorily & implementing the same.

Ensure that all the systems for inventory management are in accordance with the relevant SAP module.

Ensure safe & timely disposal of IT items which are unserviceable or written off.

Well verse with the insurance claim, warranty claim, transit insurance process for IT asset material.

To develop, implement & maintain comprehensive policies and procedures for store management & inventory control.

Any other duties / assignments given to you from time to time by the Management.
