Qualification
- LL.B. and LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. in Law (Mandatory as per UGC norms).
Experience
Associate Professor
- Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, and/or relevant legal industry experience as per UGC norms.
- Strong publication record in Scopus/ABDC/UGC CARE-indexed journals.
- Experience in guiding postgraduate students and research scholars is preferred.
Professor
- Minimum 15 years of teaching, research, and/or relevant legal industry experience as per UGC norms.
- Demonstrated academic leadership with an outstanding research profile.
- Significant publications in Scopus/ABDC/UGC CARE-indexed journals.
- Experience in supervising Ph.D. scholars, securing funded research projects, and leading academic initiatives is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level law courses.
- Develop and update curriculum aligned with UGC guidelines and industry requirements.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed national and international journals.
- Guide LL.M. dissertations and supervise Ph.D. scholars (as applicable).
- Mentor students for moot court competitions, internships, legal aid clinics, and research projects.
- Organize seminars, conferences, workshops, faculty development programmes, and legal outreach activities.
- Build collaborations with the judiciary, law firms, corporate organizations, and government agencies.
- Contribute to accreditation, rankings, quality assurance, and departmental administration.
- Support institutional growth through academic leadership, research, and innovation.
