Job Description – Architectural Draughtsman / Architect

Position 1 – Architectural Draughtsman Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparation of architectural working drawings, submission drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Drafting plans, elevations, sections, and sanction drawings as per local authority norms.
- Coordination with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and site teams.
- Preparation of area statements, detailing, and revisions as required.
- Knowledge of building bye-laws, DCR, UDCPR, CIDCO, MCGM, and municipal approval processes preferred.
- Maintaining drawing records and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or Lumion will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of construction detailing and building regulations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Architectural Draftsmanship or Civil Drafting.
Position 2 – ArchitectRoles & Responsibilities
- Conceptual planning and architectural design development.
- Preparation of presentation drawings, working drawings, and approval drawings.
- Coordination with clients, consultants, and execution teams.
- Site visits and project monitoring.
- Handling residential, commercial, industrial, and high-rise projects.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and development control rules.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong design and technical detailing skills.
- Knowledge of local approval procedures and authority submissions.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to independently manage projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) recognized by COA.
- Registration with Council of Architecture preferred.
