Coco Lagoon is progressing with its expansion and development plans and is looking to appoint a senior Engineering / Project Management professional to lead the execution of these projects.
PRIMARY SCREENING CRITERION
Candidates MUST have relevant hands-on experience in HOTEL / RESORT / HOSPITALITY PROJECTS.
This is a critical requirement and should be treated as a primary screening criterion, not merely a preferred qualification.
Candidates whose experience is limited to general residential, industrial, infrastructure or conventional commercial construction should not be prioritised, unless they also possess demonstrable hospitality project experience.

Head – Engineering & Projects / Project Head
Core Mandate
The selected professional will take ownership of the end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of Coco Lagoon's expansion projects, working closely with the Management.
The role will involve:
- Project planning, budgeting and scheduling
- Coordination with architects, consultants and specialist agencies
- Civil, structural, MEP, interiors and associated engineering works
- Contractor and vendor selection and management
- BOQ, estimation, procurement and cost control
- Monitoring project quality, timelines and specifications
- Site execution and progress monitoring
- Identification and resolution of project risks and delays
- Statutory and technical coordination
- Testing, commissioning and operational handover
- Regular project reporting to Management
Candidate Profile
We are specifically looking for a professional who understands that a resort project is not simply a construction project.
The candidate should have demonstrated understanding of:
- Hospitality operational requirements
- Guest experience and aesthetics
- Back-of-house requirements
- MEP requirements specific to hotels/resorts
- Kitchen, laundry, guest rooms, public areas and recreational facilities
- Landscaping and external development
- Integration of construction with ongoing resort operations
- Quality standards expected in an upscale hospitality environment
Experience
Preferred profile:
- Significant experience in hotel/resort project execution
- Experience handling expansion, new-build, renovation or refurbishment projects
- Ability to independently manage multiple project stakeholders
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Proven contractor and consultant management capability
- Experience working directly with senior management / promoters is an advantage

Priority should be given to candidates who have personally delivered hospitality projects rather than candidates whose exposure has been primarily administrative or supervisory.
SUCCESS PROFILE
We are looking for an owner-minded project leader, not merely an engineer or site supervisor — someone capable of taking a project from concept → planning → execution → commissioning → handover, while maintaining control over cost, quality, timelines and the Coco Lagoon guest experience.
Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
