Job Summary:
The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students about our courses, assisting them through the admission process, and ensuring an excellent student experience from inquiry to enrollment. The role involves counselling, follow-ups, database management, and coordination between students and faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel prospective students about courses, programs, and career opportunities at WedCell Institute.
Handle inquiries via calls, messages, emails, and walk-ins, and convert them into admissions.
Maintain a database of leads and follow up systematically.
Guide students through the admission and fee payment process.
Conduct orientation sessions and provide academic support when required.
Coordinate with faculty and operations teams for student scheduling and classes.
Maintain records and prepare weekly/monthly admission reports.
Build strong relationships with students and parents to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Stay updated on course details, syllabus updates, and institute offerings.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in education, business, or communication).
1–3 years of experience in counselling, admissions, or sales (education industry preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of English and Hindi (additional regional languages are a plus).
Confident, persuasive, and target-driven.
Organized, punctual, and able to multitask effectively.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools, etc.).
