Profile: Head of Sales & BD-Solar-Surat-20 LPA
Experience:
- 12-18 years in Sales / Business Development
- 6-8 years in Solar Module sales
- Experience handling large deals (MW scale) and key clients
- Network: Must have an active /"Rolodex/" of EPC players, solar developers, and key distributors.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to explain the benefits of specific module technologies (e.g., Bifacial vs. Monofacial) and interpret data sheets.
Salary Range: 20 to 24 LPA + commission
Roles:
- Plan and drive sales across rooftop, C&I, and large solar projects
- Build and manage dealer/distributor network across regions
- Handle key clients like EPC companies, developers & govt bodies
- Lead tenders, pricing discussions, and deal closures
- Track market pricing, competitor activity & new technologies
- Coordinate with internal teams for supply, pricing & delivery
- Ensure timely payments and maintain profit margins
- Represent company at industry events and meetings
- Lead the company’s presence at major industry expos (like REI or Intersolar) to generate high-value leads.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Renewable Energy
- MBA preferred
- Understanding of solar modules and basic EPC/project sales
