Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System:
- Establish, implement, and maintain ISO 9001:2015 QMS and related documentation.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits.
- Monitor and review quality objectives and targets regularly.
- Incoming, In-Process & Final Inspection:
- Ensure systematic inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Address non-conformance issues promptly and initiate corrective actions.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify process gaps and lead improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rejections.
- Implement quality control plans and SOPs for key processes.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations periodically.
- Customer Complaint Management:
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain records of complaints and actions taken.
- Team Management:
- Lead and develop the quality team, ensuring clear allocation of responsibilities and regular skill development.
- Foster a culture of quality within the organization.
- Calibration & Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure regular calibration of measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Maintain records as per ISO requirements.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and submit monthly quality reports and analysis to management.
- Track quality KPIs such as rejection rates, customer complaints, and inspection results.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Sc / B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in Quality Management in manufacturing (stationery, plastics, packaging preferred).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 implementation and auditing.
- Familiarity with QC tools, SPC, and process control techniques.
