The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, electronic components, and accessories required for LED lighting manufacturing. The role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, quality compliance, and uninterrupted production by coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure LED lighting components such as LEDs, drivers, PCBs, SMPS, heat sinks, housings, diffusers, wires, connectors, and packaging materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with production, stores, planning, and quality departments to maintain material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Track supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Verify invoices, maintain purchase records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative vendors.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including delays, quality concerns, and shortages.
- Ensure procurement complies with quality standards and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the LED lighting, electrical, or electronics manufacturing industry.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of LED lighting components and the supply chain.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in sourcing electronic components and electrical materials.
- Familiarity with domestic supplier networks.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
