Designation: Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer – Biogas Plant
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all maintenance activities of the biogas plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role involves preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and process equipment, ensuring maximum plant availability, statutory compliance, optimum equipment performance, and uninterrupted biogas production. The position also includes supervising maintenance personnel, maintaining maintenance records, preparing MIS reports, controlling maintenance costs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Skills Desired
* Strong knowledge of biogas plant operations and anaerobic digestion processes.
* Hands-on experience in maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, blowers, agitators, valves, pipelines, conveyors, shredders, slurry pumps, and gas purification systems.
* Good understanding of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related problems.
* Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
* Familiarity with industrial utilities, instrumentation, PLC-based systems, and process control.
* Working knowledge of maintenance planning, spare parts management, inventory control, and equipment documentation.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and preparation of maintenance MIS reports.
* Good understanding of industrial safety practices, environmental compliance, PTW systems, LOTO procedures, and PPE requirements.
* Strong leadership, communication, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
