Job Title: Accounts Executive/Manager(Tally)
Location: Chennai,Vanagaram
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience)
Experience: 3–5 years preferred (Freshers with Tally knowledge can apply)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS & Accountant to manage Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and handle day-to-day accounting activities using Tally. The role involves data analysis, reporting, invoicing, ledger maintenance, and coordination with operations and management.
Key Responsibilities
MIS (Management Information System)
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Maintain operational, financial, and performance data
- Track payments, receivables, payables, and expenses
- Reconcile MIS data with accounts and bank statements
- Share accurate reports with management on time
- Maintain Excel dashboards (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, formulas)
Accounting & Tally Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally (Tally Prime / ERP)
- Accounting entries for:
- Sales & Purchase
- Payments & Receipts
- Journal & Contra entries
- Bank reconciliation (BRS)
- Vendor & customer ledger maintenance
- Invoicing and debit/credit notes
- GST-related work:
- GST entries
- Invoice compliance
- Coordination with CA for filings
- Track outstanding payments and follow-ups
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate with operations, vendors, and clients
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Support audits and internal reviews
- Assist in payroll data if required
- Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- MIS reporting experience
Preferred Skills
- GST knowledge
- Logistics/transportation industry experience (added advantage)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
Education
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)
- Tally certification preferred
Working Hours
- Full-time
- Day shift -9AM to 7PM
