We are expanding our Anime division and are looking for passionate and skilled talent to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Creative and Skilled Anime Artist who is proficient in anime-style character design, illustration, and animation. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual storytelling, dynamic posing, expressive character drawing, and the ability to match Japanese anime aesthetics.
You will work with our creative leads to develop original characters, scenes, and animated sequences for anime-style projects, rhymes, series content, and commercial IP.
Responsibilities:
Anime Art & Design:
Create high-quality anime-style character designs, expressions, poses, and turnarounds.
Design backgrounds, props, and environments that match the narrative and art style.
Develop storyboard frames and concept art to visualize scenes before production.
Animation Execution:
Produce smooth and expressive 2D anime-style animations (frame-by-frame or rig-based).
Work closely with the animation and post-production team for final output.
Ensure consistency in style, proportions, and visual language across episodes/series.
Creative Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with directors, art leads, and production managers.
Adapt to feedback and revisions while maintaining timely output.
Contribute to visual direction and improve the artistic quality of ongoing projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Anime Artist or similar role (Portfolio/Showreel Required).
Strong understanding of Japanese anime art style, character dynamics, and motion.
Proficiency in Clip Studio Paint / Photoshop / Toon Boom Harmony / OpenToonz / TVPaint / After Effects
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative studio environment.
Strong drawing fundamentals (anatomy, poses, expressions, perspective).
Passion for anime, storytelling, and visual design is a must.
