Position Overview:
The IT Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of recruiting, screening and recommending staff placement through the use of creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This role is forward facing with the client, as well as the talent market, acting as the liaison between candidates and client hiring managers. The Recruiter coordinates support services across the Operations, Sourcing and Recruitment Delivery teams to ensure “one face to the client”and provides strategic support to the business by consulting on process, diversity, compliance, timeline and expectation setting.

How You Make A Difference: Responsibilities
You are responsible for independently managing the full-life cycle of each relevant position and candidate by:
Candidate Sourcing and Evaluation

Utilize multiple sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, social media, professional networks) to identify and attract top talent.

Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to determine qualifications, skills, and cultural fit based upon the client’s expectations.

Exercise significant judgment and discretion in assessing candidates' alignment with client requirements and recommending qualified candidates for consideration.

Develop and provide detailed candidate summaries and professional recommendations to hiring managers/clients.
Interview, Assess and Present Candidates

Coordinate with client and candidate all details relating to interview process. May include applicant prep, directions to office and travel arrangements, interview schedules, etc. plus obtain and provide feedback to stakeholders and candidate post interview.

Handle post interview offer process. As applicable – check references. In short, ensure the candidate is ready to go!
Client and Candidate Management

Source and recruit qualified candidates on an on-going basis to continuously develop and maintain pipeline to support placement opportunities.

Contact qualified candidates via Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and build rapport.
- Work with candidates to establish their individual career goals and strategize ways to efficiently connect candidates with clients whose goals and purpose are complementary.

Partner with hiring manager to strategize and plan recruitment efforts for the open positions.

Collaborate with Sourcing team members to verify strategy for direct sourcing, internet, referral, campus, and agency channels.

Manage internal client relationships closely and provide guidance and insight into the presentation and selection of candidates.
- Educate clients on market conditions and trends.

Make and implement independent decisions regarding recruitment strategies, candidate evaluations, and process improvements.

Provide strategic advice to clients on critical hiring and termination decisions, balancing business objectives and labor market considerations.

Manage sensitive and confidential information related to candidates and client organizations with professionalism.

Manage the candidate experience by communicating performance feedback from clients, initiating and documenting performance management conversations, sharing candidate concerns and constructive feedback with clients, reviewing and approving timecards and work schedules, and providing recommendations regarding hiring and termination decisions to clients.

What You’ll Need: Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent blend of education and work experience in the staffing industry or other related industry.
Experience:
- Five to eight years of IT recruiting experience is required. Experience working for a major staffing firm required.
- Significant exposure recruiting IT roles required, exposure to recruiting those roles in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) preferred.
- Direct employee supervisory experience a plus.

Proven experience in recruiting IT and mid‑to‑senior level roles, including niche and specialized positions.
