Job Summary
MPS Hospitals is looking for a polite, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist / Front Office Executive to manage patient registration, appointments, billing coordination, and front desk operations. The candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors and should maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
- Register patients and update records accurately in the hospital management system.
- Schedule and manage appointments.
- Answer phone calls and provide appropriate information.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and billing departments.
- Guide patients to the correct department or service area.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve basic concerns professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with billing and payment coordination when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Requirements
- Any Degree (preferred).
- 0–3 years of experience in reception, front office, or customer service.
- Hospital experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, typing, hospital software).
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
