Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for project and factory requirements.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize purchases from vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate closely with Stores, Factory, Project Teams, Vendors, Purchase Department, and Accounts Department to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project timelines.
- Handle commercial aspects of procurement including payment terms, contracts, and supplier negotiations.
- Maintain procurement records and MIS reports in SAP.
- Coordinate with banks and finance teams regarding Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and other trade finance instruments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and procurement planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing within manufacturing, engineering, EPC, industrial, or project-based companies.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Procurement/Purchase Module (MM Module preferred).
- Good understanding of Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Material Planning, and Inventory Coordination.
- Knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and procurement-related commercial documentation.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Stores, Factory, Vendors, Purchasers, Accounts, and Project Teams.
- Proficient in MS Excel and procurement reporting.
Language Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Ability to read, write, and speak both languages fluently.
