Job Summary:
The Patient Responsibility Recovery Analyst will be responsible for optimizing patient balance AR performance for Ventra Health’s clients. These balances are classified as either self-pay with no insurance or as patient responsibility after insurance adjudication. Primary duties involve analyzing account activities and workflow behavior to resolve problematic trends and drive high performance AR metrics.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Ability to analyze patient account activities and identify workflow gaps.

Use communication and collaboration skills with internal and external partners to resolve problematic accounts or processes.

Act as a proactive and positive representative of Ventra Health’s clients.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.

At least two to three years of physician or hospital accounts receivable experience is required. Vendor management experience with healthcare revenue cycle functions is preferred.

Experience as part of a global organization, working with multinational teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Troubleshoots, enhances, and standardizes revenue cycle workflows to support operational consistency and performance.

Analyzes process effectiveness, identifies improvement opportunities, and escalates major issues or risks to leadership.

Monitors client Accounts Receivable for timeliness, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.

Communicates AR performance trends and vendor-related issues promptly and clearly.

Identifies and escalates potential write-offs or adjustments.

Researches and follows up on assigned accounts to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

Reviews vendor contracts or other relevant documents to maintain a compliant approach to outstanding receivables.

Determines appropriate follow-up actions on accounts, including adjustments, correspondence, or outreach.

Supports RCM leadership by identifying trends, generating worklists, and serving as a resource to AR Representatives to promote a cohesive, positive work environment.

Performs special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
