The Material Production Planner is responsible for ensuring that materials are available at
the right time and that production is planned to achieve committed delivery dates.
The role acts as the coordination point between Sales, Design, Purchase, Stores and
Production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans.
- Maintain production planning data in SAP Business One
- Convert customer orders into production schedules.
- Prioritize jobs based on delivery commitments.
- Issue production orders and monitor execution.
- Revise schedules whenever priorities change.
2. Material Planning
- Prepare material requirement plans (MRP) for all production orders.
- Check availability of Plates, Frame plates, Gaskets, Fasteners, Bought-out components and Raw materials
- Monitor critical stock levels.
- Track material shortages.
- Raise purchase requisitions for shortages.
- Coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement.
- Prevent production stoppages due to material shortages.
3. Coordination
Coordinate closely with Sales, Design, Purchase, Quality, Production and Dispatch to ensure that all departments work towards committed delivery dates.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in PPC, Production Planning or Material Planning.
- Experience in engineering manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with SAP Business One or equivalent ERP.
- Strong knowledge of Excel.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
