Kolkata Auto Agencies Pvt. Ltd. is a leading automobile dealership committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest quality standards. We are looking for an experienced and motivated PDI Incharge to lead our Pre-Delivery Inspection operations.
Job Summary
The PDI Incharge will be responsible for ensuring that all new vehicles are thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and prepared according to OEM standards before delivery to customers. The role requires strong technical knowledge, team management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with Sales, Service, and Stock Yard teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities.
- Ensure all vehicles are inspected according to OEM guidelines before delivery.
- Identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, or cosmetic issues.
- Coordinate with Sales, Workshop, and Stock Yard for timely vehicle readiness.
- Verify accessories, owner's manual, warranty booklet, spare keys, toolkit, and all delivery documents.
- Ensure proper washing, polishing, and final presentation of vehicles.
- Maintain PDI checklists, inspection reports, and daily work records.
- Allocate jobs to PDI technicians and monitor productivity.
- Ensure on-time vehicle delivery as per customer commitments.
- Maintain workplace safety and 5S standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly PDI reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Additional automotive certifications will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Automobile Service, PDI, or Workshop operations.
- Experience in an authorized automobile dealership is preferred.
