We are seeking a Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data modeling to join Koch Capabilities India. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, build scalable BI solutions, and help drive data-informed decision-making across functions.

Our Team
You will be part of a collaborative analytics and data team that partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and domain experts across manufacturing and supply chain functions. Our team focuses on delivering high-quality insights, improving reporting efficiency, and enabling self-service analytics.
What You Will Do
- Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient BI solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and advanced data modeling techniques
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Perform data modeling and develop tabular/multidimensional data models aligned with data warehouse standards
- Build and optimize reports using tools such as DAX Studio and Snowflake to improve performance
- Execute ELT processes and work with large-scale datasets in a modern data ecosystem
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and ensure data governance and security standards
- Develop custom dashboards and integrate advanced analytics using Python or scripting where required
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and track KPIs and performance metrics
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support data-driven decisions
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-7 years of experience in data analytics, BI development, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Power BI (minimum 4+ years), including DAX and data modeling
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouse platforms
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business users
- Understanding of data pipelines, ELT processes, and large-scale data handling
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms
- Knowledge of manufacturing, production, or supply chain domains
- Experience in data engineering concepts and building data pipelines
- Exposure to Python scripting for analytics or BI customization
- Experience with UI/UX design principles for data visualization
- Familiarity with report optimization tools such as DAX Studio
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
