WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Location: Kasba, Kolkata
Department: Accounts & Finance
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience, knowledge, and capability)
Reporting To: CFO / Director
About the Role:
Stichwell Exports Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant who can independently handle accounts, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Payroll, ROC compliance, and finalization of accounts. Candidates with experience in Manufacturing, Export Houses, or Leather Industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account finalization.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial data for management review.
GST, TDS & Taxation
- Preparation and filing of GST returns.
- GST reconciliation, assessments, notices, and refund follow-up.
- TDS deduction, deposit, return filing, and compliance.
- Assist in Income Tax return filing and assessment-related matters.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Process monthly payroll and salary disbursement.
- Ensure compliance related to EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers and records.
ROC & Compliance
- Coordinate ROC filings and corporate compliance activities.
- Maintain statutory documentation and records.
Audit & Coordination
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- Provide required schedules, reports, and supporting documents during audits.

Educational Qualification
- B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Additional qualification in Taxation or Accounting will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Export House, or Leather Industry preferred.
