JAMMIESHQ is a responsible women's casualwear brand creating comfortable, stylish outfits for all-day, everyday wear.
We're looking for a passionate Fashion Designer who enjoys both the creative and operational side of running a fashion brand.
Key ResponsibilitiesFashion Design
- Research fashion trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes.
- Create mood boards and collection concepts.
- Develop sketches and technical drawings.
- Select fabrics, trims and accessories.
- Coordinate with pattern masters and tailors for sample development.
- Conduct fittings and implement design corrections.
- Prepare tech packs and measurement sheets.
- Ensure quality and fit consistency before production.
Production & Merchandising
- Coordinate with vendors for fabrics, trims and production.
- Track sampling and production timelines.
- Maintain production records and inventory.
- Assist in fabric planning and stock management.
E-commerce & Backend Operations
- Process daily website and marketplace orders.
- Verify orders before dispatch.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for picking and packing.
- Perform quality checks before dispatch.
- Generate shipping labels and coordinate courier pickups.
- Track shipments and resolve dispatch-related issues.
- Handle exchanges and return processing.
- Update inventory after every dispatch and return.
- Ensure all orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
Product & Catalogue Management
- Upload new products to Shopify and marketplaces.
- Write product descriptions and maintain product information.
- Update pricing, inventory and product images.
- Coordinate photoshoots and sample management.
General Operations
- Assist in planning new launches and collections.
- Maintain design, sampling and production documentation.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support exhibition and pop-up event preparations whenever required.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design.
- 1–3 years of experience in fashion design or apparel.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction and fit.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Shopify or e-commerce platforms is an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to handle both creative and operational responsibilities.
