SentientGeeks is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic fresher to join our marketing team as a Market Research and Lead Generation Intern. This role combines market research, lead generation, and outreach activities, providing hands-on exposure to international markets and business development processes.
Location : On-site (Salt Lake, Sector-V, Kolkata)
Stipend : Paid
Duration : 6 months

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct online research to identify potential business leads across international markets
- Collect and compile data from various sources such as databases, surveys, and primary research materials
- Fetch relevant companies from target industry verticals on a daily basis
- Gather basic business/contact information for generated leads
- Maintain and update lead databases and track daily activities
- Prospect, generate, qualify, and follow up on leads, including appointment setting
- Assist in outreach activities through platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, email, and other digital channels
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate lead opportunities with prospective clients
- Participate in new business pitches and ensure proper follow-through with prospects
- Support the team in executing marketing and business development initiatives
- Follow up with potential leads and manage basic communication workflows
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects
- Contribute to improving outreach processes and overall efficiency
- Ensure consistent, concise, and accurate internal and external communication
- Work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Good understanding of LinkedIn and website navigation
- Ability to research and analyze market data effectively
- Interest or basic knowledge in sales & marketing
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Smart, confident, and self-motivated attitude
- Understanding of business and technical aspects of IT services is a plus
