Production Line Supervisor Department Production Reports To Production Manager / Plant Head Job Summary The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. The supervisor leads machine operators and helpers, monitors workflow, reduces wastage, and ensures smooth production from line setup to final output. Key Responsibilities - Supervise daily production activities on assigned production lines. - Allocate work to operators and helpers according to the production plan. - Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timeline. - Monitor product quality during production and coordinate with the QC team. - Ensure correct use of materials, accessories, and production documents. - Reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage. - Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns immediately. - Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity of line workers. - Ensure SOPs, safety rules, and company policies are followed. - Conduct line balancing to improve productivity. - Train new operators and helpers on work methods and quality standards. - Coordinate with Cutting, Store, Maintenance, QC, Packing, and Planning departments. - Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards on the production floor. - Prepare and submit daily production reports. - Escalate production issues and delays to the Production Manager.
