Key Responsibilities
- Handle inward and outward fabric stock activities.
- Verify received fabric quantity, quality, GSM, shade, and lot details.
- Maintain proper fabric storage and identification systems.
- Issue fabrics to cutting department based on production requirements.
- Monitor stock availability and update inventory records regularly.
- Ensure proper FIFO (First In First Out) system implementation.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Merchandising, and Quality departments.
- Maintain fabric inward/outward registers and ERP entries.
- Monitor fabric shortages, damages, and rejection reports.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and physical verification.
- Ensure proper fabric roll arrangement and warehouse cleanliness.
- Prevent fabric damages, mixing, and shade variation issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and storage standards.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of fabric types and knitting industry processes.
- Inventory and warehouse management skills.
- Knowledge of fabric inspection and stock handling.
- Basic computer and ERP knowledge.
- Strong coordination and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage store manpower and documentation.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree preferred.
- Experience in garment or textile store operations preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 Years experience in Fabric Store / Warehouse management in Knitting Industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in export garment industry preferred.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines and pressure
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
