We are looking for a passionate Speech Therapist who enjoys working with children and values teamwork, evidence-based practice, and family-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and feeding assessments.
- Develop individualized therapy goals and intervention plans.
- Deliver engaging one-to-one speech therapy sessions for children.
- Work with children presenting with:
- Speech Delay
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Developmental Delay
- Intellectual Disability
- Articulation and Phonological Disorders
- Language Disorders
- Social Communication Difficulties
- Feeding and Oral-Motor Challenges (preferred)
- Educate, coach, and involve parents during therapy sessions.
- Prepare home programs and provide practical strategies for carry-over at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation, SOAP notes, assessment reports, and progress reports.
- Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Special Educators, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain ethical, professional, and evidence-based clinical practice.
QualificationsRequired
- BASLP or MASLP from a recognized institution.
- RCI Registration (Mandatory).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and families.
Preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy.
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Knowledge of feeding therapy and oral-motor intervention.
- Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
- Experience with early intervention.
Freshers with excellent clinical skills and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
