Responsibilities:
Shop Drawing Preparation: Create detailed, accurate 2D structural shop drawings for reinforced concrete (RC) and structural steel projects based on architectural and engineering blueprints.
Rebar Detailing & BBS: Produce comprehensive Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), rebar placement drawings, and concrete reinforcement details that are easy for on-site contractors to interpret.
Code Compliance: Ensure all drawings and detailing align with local and international building codes (e.g., ACI, Eurocode, IS, or BS standards) and specific project requirements.
Collaboration & Clash Detection: Coordinate effectively with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to resolve design discrepancies and structural clashes.
Revisions: Swiftly implement design revisions and updates based on feedback from engineers or changes in site conditions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional experience in structural detailing and shop drawing preparation for civil projects.
Software Proficiency:
Expertise in AutoCAD 2D.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of reinforced concrete structures, steel connections, construction methodologies, and standard rebar detailing practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
High Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in complex structural plans and ensure millimetre-perfect accuracy in shop drawings.
Spatial Awareness: Strong ability to visualize 2D blueprints as 3D structures to anticipate on-site construction challenges.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey technical issues to engineers and site managers.
Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
