Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steward to join our food and beverage team at Hotel Neo, Jaipur. As a Steward, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our room service, banquet, and restaurant areas. You will work closely with our chefs, servers, and other staff members to deliver outstanding dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Room Service:
+ Manage room service orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guest rooms
+ Maintain a high level of customer service, responding to guest queries and resolving any issues promptly
+ Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are prepared and delivered to the correct rooms
* Banquet Service:
+ Assist in the setup and service of banquets, events, and parties, ensuring that all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly
+ Work closely with the banquet team to deliver exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations
+ Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the banquet area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order
* Restaurant:
+ Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and serving guests in a friendly and professional manner
+ Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle guest payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
+ Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order
* General Responsibilities:
+ Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel, including the kitchen, restaurant, and banquet areas
+ Assist with inventory management, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are replenished as needed
+ Participate in training and development programs, staying up-to-date with hotel policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment
* Skills:
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills
+ Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
+ Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role
+ Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work culture
* Education: Hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience
* Certifications/Awards: Food Safety Certification, or equivalent
