- Collect, receive, and process patient samples.
- Perform blood, urine, and other laboratory tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Check test results for accuracy.
- Maintain proper laboratory records and reports.
- Follow laboratory SOPs and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory.
- Monitor reagents and laboratory supplies.
- Handle and dispose of biomedical waste properly.
- Guide and train junior lab technicians.
- Report any equipment problems or unusual test results to the senior staff.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff when required.
