Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager from the hospitality industry to support the Finance Manager in overseeing all financial operations of the hotel/resort. The role will act as the department's second-in-command, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, reporting, cost control, and efficient management of daily finance activities.
Candidates currently working as Assistant Finance Manager, Finance Executive, Senior Finance Executive, Accounts Executive, or Finance Supervisor within the hospitality sector are encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations
- Assist in managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cash Management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor departmental expenses and recommend cost-control measures.
- Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, GST, and company regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain financial controls and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Revenue & Cost Control
- Monitor hotel revenue streams and financial performance.
- Analyze occupancy, revenue, and profitability trends.
- Support inventory controls and cost management initiatives.
Team Support
- Assist in supervising and guiding finance and accounts team members.
- Support training and development of junior finance staff.
- Act as the Finance Manager's delegate during their absence.
RequirementsEssential
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4–8 years of finance/accounting experience within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel finance operations.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and hospitality finance systems.
Preferred
- CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with hotel ERP/PMS systems.
- Leadership or team-handling experience.

- Ready to serve as the second-in-command to the Finance Manager and take ownership when required.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
