Job Summary
The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and coordinating the timely supply of materials required for interior fit-out, shop fitting, and furniture manufacturing projects. The role involves vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, and ensuring materials are delivered on time while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities/Procurement & Purchasing
- Procure materials required for interior and furniture projects, including:
- Plywood, MDF, particle board, laminates, veneers
- Hardware and fittings
- Glass, metal, aluminum, acrylic
- Paints, adhesives, polish materials
- Electrical and plumbing materials
- Upholstery fabrics, foam, and accessories
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and compare prices.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and discounts.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Vendor Management
- Identify and develop new suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Conduct vendor evaluation based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.
- Maintain an approved vendor database.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Ensure procurement is within project budgets.
- Analyze market trends and material price fluctuations.
- Achieve cost savings through effective negotiations and alternate sourcing.
Inventory & Store Coordination
- Coordinate with stores and project teams regarding material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement to avoid shortages.
- Verify material receipts against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Projects, Planning, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure materials are available as per project schedules.
- Resolve supply-related issues that may affect project timelines.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain procurement records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts.
- Prepare procurement status reports and purchase trackers.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of procurement experience in Interior Fit-Out, Shop Fittings, Furniture Manufacturing, or Construction Industry.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
