The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, compliance, and smooth functioning of residential/commercial properties. Preference is given to retired BMC personnel due to their strong knowledge of municipal regulations, approvals, and liaisoning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, housekeeping, and security
- Ensure compliance with municipal regulations, safety norms, and statutory requirements
- Liaise with municipal authorities (BMC) for approvals, inspections, and issue resolution
- Manage utilities such as water supply, drainage, electricity, and waste management systems
- Supervise vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Handle building repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency situations
- Maintain records of licenses, permits, and compliance documentation
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost control for facility operations
- Address tenant/resident complaints and ensure timely resolution
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the premises
Key Requirements:
- Retired personnel from BMC / Municipal Corporation preferred
- 10–20 years of experience in municipal services, civil works, or facility management
- Strong knowledge of local municipal laws, approvals, and compliance processes
- Experience in handling utilities and infrastructure maintenance
- Good coordination and liaisoning skills with government departments
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in residential societies, commercial complexes, or township projects
- Knowledge of fire safety and building compliance norms
- Vendor and manpower management experience
