Job Summary
The Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that all civil works are executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily construction activities at the site.
* Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
* Monitor labor productivity and allocate manpower effectively.
* Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Maintain site discipline and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Inspect materials received at the site and verify quality standards.
* Prepare daily work progress reports and update management regularly.
* Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project schedules.
* Identify and resolve on-site technical issues.
* Monitor usage of construction materials to minimize wastage.
* Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the construction site.
* Verify measurements and maintain site records/documentation.
* Conduct regular safety toolbox talks for workers.
* Support quality inspections and client/site audits.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in construction/site supervision.
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
* Ability to read and understand civil drawings and layouts.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, AutoCAD preferred).
