Role Overview
We're looking for a driven Sales Representative to expand our presence in the industrial and logistics sectors. You'll identify and develop new business opportunities by reaching out to warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and other industrial facilities that need entrance automation solutions.
This is a hunter role—you'll be prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals for both standalone products and integrated automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target segments—warehouses, factories, cold storage facilities, logistics parks, and manufacturing units
- Product Sales: Promote and sell the full product portfolio:
- Boom Barriers
- Sliding Gate Operators
- High-Speed Doors (PVC, fabric, and insulated variants)
- Dock Levellers (hydraulic, mechanical, air-powered)
- Sectional Overhead Doors
- Dock Shelters and Seals
- Rolling Shutters
- Integrated entrance automation projects
- Client Engagement: Conduct site visits to understand client requirements, present tailored solutions, and deliver product demonstrations
- Proposal Management: Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities in the industrial automation space
- Coordination: Work closely with technical, project, and installation teams to ensure smooth handover and execution
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial products, building materials, automation systems, or capital equipment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
- Ability to understand technical products and translate features into customer benefits
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle preferred
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience selling to warehouses, logistics companies, or manufacturing facilities
- Familiarity with entrance automation, industrial doors, or material handling equipment
- Engineering or technical diploma/degree
- Existing network of contacts in the industrial or logistics sector
