Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Motor Coil Winder / Electrician with hands-on experience in motor winding, rewinding, electrical repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of electric motors, generators, and industrial electrical systems.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in an international environment while gaining exposure to industrial and commercial electrical maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform motor coil winding, rewinding, and repair activities
- Diagnose faults in electric motors, generators, and related electrical equipment
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of motors and electrical systems
- Test, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical components using appropriate testing instruments
- Repair and replace damaged coils, windings, bearings, and electrical components
- Ensure proper functioning and performance of motors and generators
- Follow electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime
Required Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in motor coil winding and electrical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of electric motors, generators, transformers, and industrial electrical equipment
- Experience in motor rewinding, repair, and fault diagnosis
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments and diagnostic equipment
- Understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of workplace electrical safety standards
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
