The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall administration, operations, and performance of the medical store. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, efficient store management, staff supervision, inventory control, and achievement of sales
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the medical store.
- Ensure smooth functioning of billing, dispensing, and customer service.
- Maintain store discipline, hygiene, and professional standards.
2. Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain valid drug licenses, records, and statutory registers.
- Ensure prescriptions are dispensed only by authorized pharmacists.
3. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of medicines and consumables.
- Control expiry, near-expiry, damaged, and slow-moving stock.
- Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, cold chain, shelving).
4. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Implement promotional schemes and improve customer retention.
- Analyze sales reports and take corrective actions where required.
5. Staff Management
- Supervise pharmacists, store executives, and support staff.
- Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and ensure adherence to duty hours.
- Train staff on SOPs, customer handling, and compliance norms.
- Initiate disciplinary actions as per company policy when required.
6. Customer Service
- Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and ethical practices.
7. Accounts & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy in daily billing, cash handling, and bank deposits.
- Verify daily, weekly, and monthly reports (sales, stock, expiry, manpower).
- Coordinate with HO / Management for audits and reviews.
8. Asset & Security Management
- Safeguard company property, medicines, and equipment.
- Coordinate with security services and ensure loss prevention measures.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
