Job Overview
Phantom Solutions is seeking a skilled Podcast Editor to produce high-quality podcast episodes by editing audio and video, improving sound quality, and creating engaging content for platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Instagram, and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit podcast audio and video for a polished final product.
- Remove background noise, filler words, long pauses, and mistakes.
- Sync audio and video accurately.
- Enhance audio quality with EQ, compression, and noise reduction.
- Add intros, outros, music, transitions, captions, and graphics where needed.
- Create short-form clips for social media (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
- Deliver projects on time while maintaining high quality.
Requirements
- Experience editing podcasts (audio and/or video).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Knowledge of audio editing tools such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Multi-camera podcast editing.
- Motion graphics and animated captions.
- Color correction and basic color grading.
- Experience with YouTube content optimization.
- Familiarity with AI editing tools such as Descript or Opus Clip.
