The Associate Director – Healing Services will drive innovation and excellence in healing services to expand Arpan’s impact at scale. The role will lead a high-performing team and shape strategic directions in the areas of healing & mental health.

3. Key Objectives of the Job
- Drive innovation, quality, and contextual relevance across Arpan’s healing services team
- Define and lead the vision, roadmap, and implementation of Arpan’s healing services initiatives to scale impact.
- Guide the creation, curation, and dissemination of knowledge by synthesising insights from Arpan’s field data, evaluations, and global developments.
- Lead the Healing Services for Arpan, provide strategic direction, mentor and supervise the team
4. Major Deliverables
- Oversee end to end implementation of Healing Services, including case work for PSE programme, Mental Health Services, work with institutions and any other work that Arpan is involved with in the area of Mental Health.
- Providing strategic thinking and guidance to the Healing Services team and psychotherapeutic work of Arpan. Identify opportunities to scale Arpan’s work both nationally and internationally.
- Define and monitor quality benchmarks to maintain programme fidelity, reach and impact.
- Ensure operational excellence by planning, reviewing, and refining implementation processes and conducting regular quality checks.
- Providing strong value driven leadership to a large, diverse team, fostering a high performance and inclusive team culture.
- Manage and build a high-quality motivated team and provide direction and mentorship to large, young and diverse teams.
- Lead a multilayered team structure including programme managers, coordinators and counsellors.
- Drive accountability and growth through regular performance reviews, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
- Strengthening internal systems, SOPs, and cross functional collaboration for effective programme delivery.
- Represent Arpan at relevant external forums, coalitions, and sectoral platforms focused on child protection and mental health along with senior leadership.
- Contribute to thought leadership through documentation, case studies and strategic insights.
- Build partnerships to scale therapeutic services and capacity building of external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with RME team to embed data driven decision making and continuous improvement.
- Represent Arpan in state, national, and international forums to advocate for CSA prevention education and showcase healing services leadership.

6. Specialized job competencies
- Experience in therapeutic modalities and case work along with trauma informed and child centric approaches
- Team management
- Strategic programme design, scaling, and impact evaluation
- Executive stakeholder management (funders, govt, partners)
- Risk governance and crisis leadership in sensitive cases
- High-quality team development and talent retention strategies
- Expertise in Gender based Violence and Child Protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation.
- Strong understanding of technology-enabled learning and child protection frameworks.
7. Educational Qualification
Post-Graduation in Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, and other related fields.
8. Desired Experience
- 12-15 years or more of experience in a therapeutic / supervisory / mentorship role.
- Currently in a leadership / mentorship role in child rights/child protection, at national / international NGOs, research institutions, or education boards
9. Other desired attributes
- Inter-personal skills; ability to handle high pressure situation
- Deep understanding of Child Rights, Human Rights, Child Protection, J. J. Act
- Strong articulation and analytical skills
- Leadership skills and ability to deploy transformative changes in collaboration with other teams
11. Salary range
Up to 23 LPA plus reimbursements
