Role Objective
To manage complete labour resources across construction projects by handling multiple labour contractors, ensuring timely availability of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower, compliance with labour laws, cost control, and smooth site execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, forecast, and deploy labour as per project timelines and execution needs.
· Source, empanel, negotiate, and manage multiple labour contractors for all construction trades.
· Ensure uninterrupted availability of labour across all project sites.
· Monitor daily labour deployment, attendance, and productivity at sites.
· Maintain and verify muster rolls, labour registers, and site records.
· Coordinate closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers for manpower planning.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws (CLRA, PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, etc.).
· Verify contractor statutory documentation and compliance submissions.
· Control labour costs and ensure usage within approved budgets.
· Verify and certify labour contractor bills before payments.
· Handle labour issues, disputes, discipline, and grievance resolution.
· Ensure labour welfare facilities, safety practices, and site discipline.
· Prepare MIS reports on labour strength, productivity, and costs.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong experience in construction labour management
· Ability to handle multiple labour contractors
· Good knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance
· Excellent coordination and negotiation skills
· Capability to manage large manpower strength (500+)
· Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / Graduate (Civil Engineering preferred)
Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or luxury construction projects
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
