About the Role
Raptor Supplies is looking for an experienced Team Lead to manage our Product Data & Catalog Operations team. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) e-commerce industry, and experience handling large industrial product catalogs.
This role requires someone who can lead a team, improve operational efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure high-quality product information across multiple industrial manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Catalog Engineers and Product Data Specialists.
- Manage end-to-end product onboarding for industrial MRO products.
- Ensure product specifications, attributes, taxonomy, and categorization are accurate and standardized.
- Review and improve catalog quality through data validation and quality control.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet catalog delivery timelines.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Monitor team productivity and performance using KPIs.
- Create SOPs and maintain documentation for catalog processes.
- Resolve complex catalog and technical issues.
- Train new team members and conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience leading a team.
Required Skills
Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the MRO industrial domain.
- Experience with industrial manufacturers and product catalogs.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and engineering products.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Python for automation and data processing.
- SQL (preferred).
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for productivity.
- Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) concepts.
