We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete merchandising cycle—from order coordination and vendor communication to production follow-up and timely delivery. The candidate should have a strong understanding of garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing, and fashion trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and production teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Monitor the complete order lifecycle from sampling to final shipment.
- Follow up with suppliers for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, production reports, and merchandising documentation.
- Track production timelines and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to support product development.
- Work closely with the design, sourcing, quality, and production departments.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment when required.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Resolve production or delivery issues by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly merchandising reports.
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Fashion Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in apparel or garment merchandising.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, and apparel manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with export houses or apparel manufacturing companies.
- Knowledge of merchandising software or ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
