Dialysis Technician
Job Summary:
As a Dialysis Technician at Karpagam Hospital, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of dialysis equipment, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective dialysis treatments. You will play a vital role in assisting patients with their treatments and providing excellent patient care. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Job Role & Responsibilities :
- Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and equipment.
- Assist patients with the setup and removal of dialysis catheters or access devices.
- Monitor patients during dialysis treatments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Measure and record patient vital signs and fluid balance.
- Communicate with healthcare providers regarding any changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the dialysis treatment area.
- Document treatment information, including patient status, equipment settings, and any concerns.
- Assist in training new staff and patients on dialysis equipment use and procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Qualification: B. Sc (Dialysis Technology)
Experience: 2 years and above
