- Greet guests warmly and professionally, escort them to tables, and present menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained throughout service, including clearing and resetting.
- Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas before and after service periods (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and service stations as per hotel and safety standards.
- Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and anticipate additional needs.
- Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.
- Assist in inventory management, such as stock control and requisition of supplies.
- Cooperate with all other hotel departments to ensure smooth service operations.
- Follow all cash handling and billing procedures accurately.
- Adhere to grooming and personal hygiene standards as per hotel policy.
- Attend departmental briefings, trainings, and meetings as required.
- Support banquet and event service operations as needed.
