Scaffolding Supervisor — Bangalore, Karnataka
Type: Full-time · Location: Bangalore, Karnataka · Languages: Basic English; Hindi and Kannada required
Responsibilities
- Supervise scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling on site
- Oversee daily site labour, crew allocation, and work schedules
- Ensure work meets safety standards and load/height requirements
- Conduct site and equipment inspections; report defects
- Coordinate material delivery, stock, and equipment usage
- Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and workers
- Maintain attendance, work logs, and progress reports
- Enforce PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and site safety compliance
Essential
- No prior experience required — will train
- Honest, ethical, reliable, and trustworthy
- Basic English; fluent Hindi and Kannada
- Leadership and crew-management skills
- Must own a bike (two-wheeler)
Desirable
- Knowledge of scaffolding systems, heights, and load safety
- Ability to read basic drawings/site plans
- Experience with government or commercial construction projects
- Familiarity with local vendors and labour networks
