Job Description – Technical Executive (Solar Site Survey & Technical Support)

Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Technical Executive to conduct solar site surveys, prepare technical reports, coordinate with installation teams, and resolve technical issues related to rooftop solar projects. Freshers with electrical knowledge are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential, commercial, and industrial solar site surveys.
- Measure rooftop dimensions and assess shadow-free areas.
- Prepare site survey reports with photos and technical observations.
- Evaluate electrical infrastructure for solar installation.
- Identify suitable inverter and solar panel placement.
- Coordinate with the design and project execution teams.
- Resolve technical issues before and during installation.
- Visit customer sites for troubleshooting and technical support.
- Ensure installations comply with MNRE and DISCOM guidelines.
- Verify structural feasibility of rooftops.
- Coordinate with vendors, electricians, and installation teams.
- Maintain accurate survey documentation and customer records.
- Assist in commissioning and system testing when required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Solar PV Systems.
- Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems.
- Ability to read single-line diagrams (SLD).
- Knowledge of rooftop solar installation practices.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel for field visits.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy.
- Freshers with technical knowledge may apply.
- Experienced candidates in Solar EPC will be preferred.
Experience
- 0–3 Years in Solar EPC or Electrical Field.
- Freshers are welcome.
Requirements
- Two-wheeler is mandatory.
- Valid Driving License.
- Willing to travel within Gujarat.
- Basic smartphone and computer knowledge.
Salary
- ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience)
