Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Two Wheeler Service Technician with strong hands-on knowledge of two-wheeler servicing, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The candidate should have relevant industry experience along with teaching/training experience in automobile technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of two-wheelers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in two-wheelers.
- Carry out engine, clutch, brake, suspension, transmission, and steering repairs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot battery, wiring, ignition, charging, and starting systems.
- Perform preventive and periodic maintenance as per manufacturer/service standards.
- Identify faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ensure proper quality and safety standards during all repair activities.
- Maintain service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Train students/trainees on two-wheeler servicing, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrate practical workshop activities and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Conduct practical assessments and evaluate trainees' technical skills.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Follow company/workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical systems.
- Good knowledge of automobile electrical and electronic systems.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good practical training and demonstration skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and preventive maintenance.
Preferred Profile
- ITI qualification in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) or Mechanic Auto Electrical & Electronics.
- Minimum 5 years of total experience.
- Minimum 4 years of sector-specific experience in two-wheeler service/automobile industry.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching/training experience in automobile/two-wheeler technical training.
