About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Content Writing to lead our content team and oversee the creation, review, and delivery of high-quality website and SEO content across multiple client projects. The ideal candidate should have strong writing, editing, research, and team management skills, along with the ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning & Quality Management
Oversee the creation of website content, service pages, location pages, landing pages, blogs, and other SEO-focused content.
Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
Ensure all content meets quality standards before submission to clients or publishing.
Conduct research on industries, competitors, and target audiences to create valuable and engaging content.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers.
Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure timely project completion.
Conduct regular content reviews, feedback sessions, and training initiatives.
Help team members improve writing quality, research skills, and content effectiveness.
SEO Content Collaboration
Work closely with the SEO team to develop search-optimized content.
Understand keyword integration, search intent, content structure, and on-page SEO best practices.
Ensure content supports organic traffic growth and ranking objectives.
Review content from both quality and SEO perspectives before final approval.
AI & Modern Content Practices
Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and similar platforms for research, ideation, outlining, content optimization, and productivity enhancement.
Develop AI-assisted content workflows while maintaining high editorial standards.
Review, fact-check, and refine AI-generated content to ensure originality, accuracy, and quality.
Stay updated with evolving AI tools, content trends, and search engine best practices.
Process & Performance Management
Maintain content SOPs, quality checklists, and review processes.
Ensure efficient content workflows and reduce content revisions through proactive quality control.
Track team productivity, content quality, and project timelines.
Coordinate with SEO and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–8 years of content writing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
Excellent English writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of SEO content writing and website content development.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in an agency environment.
Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
Ability to maintain high-quality standards while managing team productivity.
Nice to Have
Experience working with international clients and multiple industries.
Experience creating content guidelines, SOPs, and quality control processes.
Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Agency experience handling multiple client accounts.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
