Position: Milling Machine Operator

Experience: 1–5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Relevant Trade
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate conventional and CNC milling machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Set up workpieces, tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Perform milling operations such as facing, slotting, drilling, and contour machining.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during machining.
- Maintain production quality standards and complete jobs within the specified time.
- Inspect finished components and report any deviations.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
- Experience in Conventional Milling Machine Operation.
- Knowledge of machine setup and tooling.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of milling machines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SPM, Fixture, and Jig component machining.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
