1. Handling Student Inquiries
Respond to calls, emails, walk-ins, and online queries from students and parents. Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures.
2. Counselling & Career Guidance
Understand the student’s interests, academic background, and goals, then suggest suitable courses or programs. Help them make informed decisions about their future.
3. Admission Process Management
Guide students through the full admission process, including:
- Filling application forms
- Document verification
- Explaining deadlines and requirements
4. Follow-ups & Conversions
Regularly follow up with prospective students to encourage them to complete their admission. This is a key part of the role, as it directly impacts enrollment numbers.
5. Maintaining Records
Keep track of student data, inquiries, and admission status using CRM systems or spreadsheets. Ensure records are accurate and updated.
6. Achieving Admission Targets
Most institutions set monthly or yearly enrollment targets. Counsellors are expected to meet or exceed these goals.
7. Coordination with Other Departments
Work with academic teams, marketing, and administration to ensure smooth admission processes and updated course information.
8. Conducting Presentations & Seminars
Participate in school visits, education fairs, webinars, or campus tours to promote the institution and attract students.
9. Building Relationships
Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and sometimes schools or coaching centers to generate referrals.
10. Handling Objections
Address concerns related to fees, placements, course value, or location in a confident and reassuring way.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
