Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise routine and specialized laboratory tests as per established SOPs.
- Handle collection, identification, processing, and storage of patient samples.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Verify test results and identify abnormal, inconsistent, or technically doubtful results.
- Perform internal quality control and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results, QC records, maintenance logs, and other laboratory records.
- Follow standard operating procedures, biosafety practices, and infection-control protocols.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and testing-related issues and coordinate with service engineers when required.
- Monitor reagent, consumable, and inventory requirements and report shortages.
- Guide and supervise junior technicians and laboratory assistants.
- Ensure timely processing and reporting of samples.
- Coordinate with doctors, phlebotomists, front-office staff, and other departments when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and laboratory records.
- Support audits, inspections, and implementation of laboratory quality standards.
- Train junior staff on laboratory procedures, safety, and equipment handling.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
