Position Overview:
The Medical Editor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of medical and promotional materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and an understanding of industry regulations to maintain compliance.
Role Requirements:
- Edit and proofread scientific and promotional content for grammar, consistency, and accuracy
- Ensure adherence to AMA style, brand guidelines, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and account teams to refine materials
- Verify references and citations for scientific accuracy
- Assist with quality control during the production process
- Maintain and update style guides and editorial standards
- Work on multiple projects under tight deadlines while ensuring quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in medical or pharmaceutical editing
- Strong knowledge of AMA style and industry regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or medical communications setting
- Familiarity with digital and print content review processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
