We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security access, conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Monitor security access logs and identify potential security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT).
- Implement and maintain security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to security incidents promptly and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and security trends.
- Configure and manage SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external security vendors and auditors when required.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with VAPT tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, etc.).
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, IBM QRadar, or similar).
- Understanding of IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and antivirus solutions.
- Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and security compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud security (AWS, Azure).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cyber security or information security.
- Relevant certifications (CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISA).
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
